Give your charcuterie and grazing boards a ‘lil glow up this season with an edible pine cone! Made with only three ingredients, these edible pine cones are quick to make and add a wow factor to your Fall or holiday entertaining.
Ingredients:
- Gourmais® Polenta Crisps
- Goat cheese / soft cheese (substitute for plant-based cheese as needed)
- Brown edible paint powder or color spray (optional)
Steps:
- Lay out your polenta crisps or crackers on a plate and coat evenly with edible paint powder or color spray.
- Note: Careful that the edible color may transfer on fingertips and lips! This step is optional.
- Mold cheese into a cone-like, cylindrical shape on a separate plate.
- Break polenta crisps into pieces and insert into the side of the cheese at the bottom. Slant the polenta crisps slightly upward.
- Building from the bottom to top of the cheese, repeat step 3. Use smaller pieces as you go up.
- Adjust the shape as needed and fill in any bald or empty spots.
